Thieves have struck again in Kent, taking another person’s pride and joy. While thefts of Land Rovers, Fords and Minis are unfortunately a common occurrence, thefts of steam powered replicas is probably breaking new ground.
This unique replica steam lorry was stolen from a 55 year old man’s driveway in Lordswood, Kent, following the steam fayre in Woodchurch on Sunday 6th August.
The engine is said to have taken 2000 hours of labour over six years to create and be worth around £25,000.
Anyone with any information should contact Kent Police on 01634 792209 quoting reference 07-0326.
