The pandemic continues, with yet another innocent Land Rover left defenseless. Following on from our Hateful Eight thefts, yet another Defender has gone walkabout.
Stolen from Hamstead Marshall, Berkshire, between 07:30 and 09:00 in the morning on a day in late January 2016; the owners have launched an appeal for the public to remain vigilant.
Taken in the theft was a 1998 Defender 90 Tdi commercial vehicle, in blue; registration number R953 HMR. The vehicle was laden with tools, so this crime has robbed the owner of their livelihood. In addition to this, the thieves also took a van from the same premises, make and model yet to be confirmed.
Without a shadow of a doubt, this incident is linked to some of the other Defenders previously featured on Motorhipster.co.uk, which means that we must all keep our eyes open to try and shut this organised crime unit down. Please share this on Facebook, Twitter and on every other source of social media to spread the word.
Any sightings or suspicious activity should be reported immediately to the Police on 101.
